Virtual Appointment

Step 1:   Take Photos

What you will need:

  • Clean Hands

  • Two Spoons (or clean fingers)

  • Smart Phone, iPad or tablet

  • Photographer (i.e. Friend or Family Member)

Photo Instructions:

It can be tricky to take these photos… It might provide some laughter and entertainment along the way :)

Here is what to do...

First photo – Use the clean spoons (or clean fingers) to stretch the lips and cheeks away from the teeth so that Dr. Solomon will be able to see as many of the teeth as possible.  Then bite down on back teeth while the photographer takes a picture of the front teeth like the sample below.

Second and Third photos –Have both spoons in (one on either side), stretch the right side as far as back as possible, bite down on the back teeth while the photographer takes a picture of the teeth on the right side.  Then repeat this for the left side. (**If you have braces and you wear rubber bands, please have them on while you take these two pictures)

Fourth photo -- Have both spoons in and stretch them up and away from the top teeth.  Open wide and tip your head back while the photographer takes a picture of the top teeth.

Last one -- Have both spoons in and stretch them down and away from the bottom teeth.  Open wide and tip your head down towards your chest while the photographer takes a picture of the bottom teeth.

***One extra photo if you are wearing Invisalign aligners*** -- With your aligners in, use both spoons to stretch lips and cheeks away from teeth,  open slightly so that top and bottom teeth can both be seen while you take a picture from the front.

Step 2:  Send your photos to us by emailing them to:

                                    info@greentreeorthodontics.com

Please include:

  • What grade would you give yourself for wearing your rubber bands, retainers or aligners as directed?

  • Any questions that you have for Dr. Solomon.

  • Do you need more rubber bands?

  • Anything fun or creative that you have been doing lately that you want to tell us about.  We miss you!

***If you are wearing Invisalign aligners, please also let us know which set of aligners you are currently wearing***
